Honda HS 928 Tracked

Far and away the best snowthrower I've ever owned. Lived in the far north for many years and sick and tired of fussing with "other" snowthrowers. Yes, I paid a heap of money for it and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

The hydrostatic tranny is a marvel of simplicity and the two stage auger is an absolute workhorse. Finding the right shear bolts was a little tricky, but thru trial and error I realized the OEM shear bolts just don't stand up.

I will never go back to a wheeled showthrower again after using the track drive on this machine. Do yourself a favour - if you live in an area where you need to rely on your showthrower to keep your property clear, buy a Honda and don't look back.

It doesn't matter which one you buy cause they're all excellent (even the wheeled versions). It's more a matter of how much machine you need.
