Great Machine. I have worked this MastwerCraft (a.k.a. MTD) 5.0 hp 24" snowblower VERY hard for the past 10 years or so. This 24" inch piece of work and I plowed more snow than my city did!

Every year, check the shear pins, change the oil and put in a new spark plug. It has never failed to start, no matter how cold it was in Canada -30 degrees F. and lower, and in under three pulls.

To bad... I had to leave it in storage a my buddies place for a season. Some SOB removed the spark plug, and then left it out in the rain all summer (open to the elements if you wish).

I only have two wishes:
1. if I need to rebuild the Tecumse engine - any one have the manual? (he lost that too)
2. Any one have a 5.0 hp Tecusee engine for sale? so I don't have to rebuild this one.
(okay three...may it snow like there is NO tomorrow at his house, because me and my little buddy will not be there)
