I purchased my Troy Bilt Storm 5024 in October 2007 from a local Lowe's and I have nothing but praise for this 2 stage snow blower. It has always started easily with the electric start and I am still running the original spark plug. Up here in Michigan it is essential to have a reliable snow blower and the 5024 has been it for me. It is rated for up to 22" of snow and I've run it through 16" and it just kept going. Of course I had to slow down to 1st gear but it just wouldn't stop. Of course I do not use it professionally, just for my personal driveway, but it has been no problem at all. In my opinion, this is a great choice and I'll buy another if this one ever stops! I give it 5 Stars
