Yardman 2B5

Worst snowblower I have ever owned. Has a very cheap mechanism to engage the auger. Looks like it was a safety requirement and they got a non engineer to design it. It is almost "toy" level quality.

Not only will this unit NOT clear the heavier snow you get at the end of the driveway, but if you even attempt to move this snow it will destroy the belt. If you are not a DIYer then you have a $100 repair. Thankfully I know how to fix this and am on my third belt in three years and I only use it once or twice per year!

Worst thing is that MTD makes this same unit for several other companies. Make sure you ask your retailer if the is a MTD unit, then turn and run away... On the plus side, it starts really easy so you can sound like you are blowing snow while you go get your shovel.
